Let Your Light Shine

What is your outer appearance saying to the world? Does it appear that you blend in with the world or do you appear set apart? We are Christian women within this world who are called by our Lord to be holy. We are the ones that must stand up and proclaim Christ in our actions and appearance. Women of the world should be able to tell us apart from other women. This is not restricted to a style of dress, but expands to our whole lifestyle, which includes character, honesty, modesty etc...Let your light shine! Show Jesus in all that you do. We should set the example of what a Godly woman is.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 1 Peter 2:9

There is nothing wrong with you. Whenever you feel outcast, that's just the enemy trying to make you feel like you're missing out and nudges you toward sin again. If the enemy wasn't after you, it's because he already has you. So rejoice when you have to stand up against him. It's because he can't have you he's giving you hell. You've died to the old man and have been born anew to Christ. Just because of that the devil hates you. Make him even madder by respecting your husband and putting your family first. Make him shutter at the very sight of a glorious, modestly dressed woman, who chooses to show her spirituality instead of her body. Leave him paralyzed with fear from family prayer and bible study.

The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. John 10:10

No matter what, lead by example much like Christ did. You have no idea how much your attitudes and actions are ministering to other women. Tell your testimony, it can be the very lifeline that a woman needs to hang on for another day. Love and nurture your children, you could be teaching a mother unbeknown st to you. Honour and respect your husband and show what a blessed marriage really looks like. No matter who, what, when or where...Let Your Light Shine!

Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:16

Awesome, as usual. Good food for thought and definitely something that needs to be addressed by every Christian woman. Blessings!

Thank you, we are a light to many women and should show an example of what God has called us to do.
