Spirit speech

Whoever would love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from deceitful speech. 1Peter 3:10
A soft answer turneth away wrath, but grievous words stir up anger...Proverbs 15:1
My tongue will speak of your righteousness and of your praises all day long...Psalms 35:28
Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing...Proverbs 12:18

Whatsoever comes out of your mouth, is directly related to what is in your heart. So, I ask what has your conversation been like towards your loved ones? As wives and mothers, we can directly influence the behavior of those we have been entrusted with just our words alone.  We can create an atmosphere of Christ, love and family just by what flows from our hearts in our own homes.

Some examples are; a child's fears can be sooth away with just a word from us. Tears dry up faster with soft, kind words. You are directly related to when our husbands not only fly, but soar by us cheering them on. Remember our children learn by watching us. We are their role models and should always show God in all we say or do. But far more important is you are children of God and should be Christ-like in our walk.  Our husbands also can feel love, comfort and respect from what comes from our lips alone. There is so much power in the tongue and used wisely, it can make all the difference in the world.

Be very aware of what speech you have at home. Blessings and cursing, should not flow from the same lips!

Valencia thanks for this reminder. I totally agree with it.

I have often thought about stenciling this Psalm on my wall...
A soft answer turneth away wrath...

Our tongues can soothe and heal people's hurts...or we can be the ones wounding others with our sharp tongues.

Have a good day my friend.
