DIY nestegg necklace

I wanted a way to have a cute reminder of my kids with me throughout the day, so I came up with a cute idea. Using stuff I already had laying around the house I created a nest egg necklace for free.

picture wire and mardi gras beads

I start by winding the wire up

then I cut my little eggs from beads

add them with hot glue to my nest

aaawww! all five of my little eggs

just add ribbon and a cute bow

All done and ready to wear!

My kids just love picking out which egg is them...lol
This was by far the cutest and easiest project I've done yet, for free.
Cause ya know, free is sooo me!!

Really cute...and using pastel colored "eggs" would allow the children to pick their favorite color to be "them"...just food for thought...(if you wanted colored eggs)...
