Merry Christmas

Helllloooo!!!! Is anyone still out there.....lol So sorry I haven't posted in a while, but working parttime took a lot of time online from me. But, I'll be back blogging full time at the start of the new year~  I've missed you guys and will have Feminine Friday back up in the new year as well, so get your pics/ posts ready to link up. I will take a little break for the holidays and to winter clean my home. I will also start the New Testament in 30 days again Jan. 1st, I hope you'll be reading and studing too. So sorry I've been MIA for a while. My camera is missing the charger, but I will order a new one soon so I can take pics of my FF and projects. Unplugged

Hello everyone!! Many blessings to your and your family this holiday season! I will be unplugged for a while to get ready for the Thanksgiving Holidays. I'll be back Dec 1. While I'm gone, I hope you all will be taking time to enjoy your families as well and be thankful for what God has blessed you with. Have a very happy and thankful Thanksgiving!!!

I'm almost done with my fall house cleaning!! I've taken a part every room and organized them one by one. I'm getting ready for a garage sale this weekend to get rid of the clutter before the holidays. I'm also getting my dancers ready for their praise dance for our church. Then I've been helping at my kids art center program once a week and I had to get my class schedule and crafts together so, its all done and ready to go. I've just gotten our church community harvest festival underway and been taking donations for the renovations too.  Whewww!!! Just typing all of that is tiresome....(smile) in a good way!

I've really enjoyed the family time that we've been sharing together. It has been awesome! I have been cooking so many new recipes and the family is loving every minute of it. And for some reason, I've been on a baking spree... I have no idea why but again they've been lovin' it. This has been an awesome experience unplugging for just two weeks and plugging back in to my community, church, and family! I didn't even check Facebook not one time or my email. I thought I would go crazy but, it has really helped me to see how much more I could be doing IRL(in real life). I really love you guys for sticking by me every once in a while, when I get the urge to unplug. That really means a lot to me and you guys have never left and have been so understanding throughout all the other times. But don't worry, I'll be back to blogging bright and early Monday morning.

Unplugged

I will be taking a break from the internet for the rest of the week and next week! I must be more involved with my family and get some fall cleaning done. Plus, I have children praise dance and community activities that I have to coordinate. Don't go away because I will be back refreshed and ready to blog. Be blessed!!

Summer Fun!!!!

I hope you guys had a great holiday week! I know I did! I'm so sorry that I have taken sooo much time away from blogging, but I have to put things in order first. I hope you guys will stick by my side as I take a little break from blogging. I realy want to take advantage of the time I have left with my family before school starts next month. So, I'll be hitting the parks for picnics, movies, game nights and other outdoor fun with my husband and kids. My oldest daughter is on her way to the Jr. Olympics again this year and we are soooo proud of her. My other daughter has a piano recital coming up and I'm doing fundraising for the art center since I'm on the committee. I'll be back online from time to time posting until I come back full time in August. Until then, I hope you guys will enjoy your families as well this summer. I wish you all lots of love from my family to yours.

Mother's Day!

Just wanted to pop in and say that I'm not MIA, just spending my birthday and holiday weekend offline with my family! I'll be back Monday all loved up by my husband and children. I hope all of you beautiful ladies have a blessed Mother's Day!!!!

Unplugged

Hello everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that I will not be posting a Feminine Friday this week. I'll be going home to visit my mom and family for the holiday weekend. I'm taking advantage of a three day weekend to spend time with my family and catch up on my spring cleaning. Since the kids are home from school for Good Friday, we're going to make this a family clean day!! I'll make some pizzas and punch for dinner and have plenty of snacks while we clean.  We'll get our aprons, crank up the music and have a good time together!! Then we'll end the day with a family movie and some board games. Saturday we'll head out to see mom and spend the rest of the weekend with her. I hope you guys all have a blessed weekend to spend with your family and friends! What do you all have planned?

I'm back!!!!!

Whew! The holidays are over and I'm finally back in cyber space! I really enjoyed my time offline with my family and being able to focus on them totally. They really enjoyed my undivided attention and I got soooo much done. I really did miss you guys and I'm glad to be back! Over the next few weeks I'll be slowly but surely making my presence back over the net. I'm still organizing and cleaning to get all my holiday stuff back in the storage and getting things back to normal. So, until I'm done, I'll schedule some repost of my favs I hope you'll enjoy. I really do feel refreshed and I'm grateful for my friends who still hung in there while I had some technical issues. Plus, I feel so refreshed and renewed!

Hello everyone! I'm writing to you today to let all of my followers know that I will be unplugged for the next two weeks. My laptop is having some harddrive issues and will be in the shop getting repaired. I should have it back up and running soon! I hope you all hang in there with me until I'm back on again. Thanksgiving unplugged

Hello everyone!! I'm just writing a quick post to let you guys know I'm going unplugged for the rest of the week. I won't post a Feminine Friday too, but I'll be back next week. I'll be very busy getting the last of my fall cleaning done. It's just something about a clean home for the holidays that makes it so cozy and warm! Then I'll be cooking all of my desserts early on, so I can actually enjoy my time with my family. Hubs will be coming home from the road and I miss him soooo much!! The weekend after Thanksgiving is when we decorate for Christmas. So, I'll be with my children, decking the halls...(smile) Oh and not to forget Black Friday sales that I'll be going to at the crack of dawn! Don't forget about me and I hope you all enjoy your family and friends this week. Many blessings!

Thief

I'm sure you've met the thief that has stolen so much away from you. Your family can easily relate to the hurt that has been left behind from this culprit. He has taken something of so much value, that it can never be replaced. And to make matters worse, we have allowed him into our homes. We've given him the keys to our families most prized possession....TIME! The thief is the internet and he has taken so many moments away from your loved ones that can't be replaced. I know, I have been guilty of letting him into my home and missed opportunities to minister to my family by keeping my home, playing a game of peek a a boo, or getting dinner ready on time. This thief actually gives you some valued info in return for your time. A few laughs from emails, a little fun from games, etc... But he has also been guilty of distracting us from actually living, because we're busy while he steals more time. I am learning that I can have too much of a good thing! I've got to get going, life is calling!

Holiday Unplug

I've been taking it easy and really enjoying my family this holiday season. My family and I have been really focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. It's not about the gifts, the songs, movies, decorations, candy, etc... It's all about a little lamb that was born to save our lives. To lead by perfect example and die for our sins. This really is the most wonderful time of the year!!!

I will be going unplugged starting today and will return sometime after Christmas. To all of my bloggy friends, Have a Merry Christmas!!!

Unplugged Holiday

I just wanted to wish you all a very happy and safe Thanksgiving. I will be offline for the rest of the week to prepare my feast and spend time with my family. I'll have a special Thanksgiving Thankful Thursday post next time. I also won't be hosting Feminine Friday this week as I'll be out at Black Friday in Dallas with my big sis.
