A mother's Love

One of the most rewarding assignments that God has given me is that of mom. I have never felt so fulfilled in my life. I'm raising little ones for Him and it is a great job. I am honored that I have the chance to be a role model and nurture little ones.

I have a quiver full and I'm enjoying every minute of it. They may keep things busy around here, but we're so busy making memories that will last a lifetime to mind much. We have a little of yours, mine, and ours going on here in my home. Five children, most times, but seven at other times. And that just makes things all the more special. I always try to create an atmosphere or praise and worship in my home. Because I feel that motherhood is a ministry! I'm also a fun mom who is still a kid at heart and my children just love it!

Now tell us more about your family. How many children do you have and are you done yet? What is your most memorable mom memory? Or you could take a cute quiz and post your results.

It is so encouraging to hear from moms who are loving their job and taking it seriously as a ministry. I have 3, 1 son 24, 1 daughter 22, 1 son 21. Even though they have flown the nest, the rewards of motherhood keep coming. I love the relationship I have with each one of them(and also with my son-in-law and grandson). I cherish every moment of time with them. The ministry of motherhood never ends.

The quiz says I am an encouraging mom. Hmmm.
I have 4 kids. 2 grown men..and 2 little people. We adopted our youngest 2 children out of rescue...we did not go looking for adoption, but God had other plans. I have 2 grandchildren...I was born to be a grandma!!!

I totally agree with you, i've never felt more fulfilled than i do now that i'm at home as a wife and mother. I thank God for the opportunity to be a homemaker. What a blessing it is!

I, too, love being a Mom, Mom-in-law and Granma!

My children are
Jase-16-sophomore in high school
Kalyn-19-sophomore in college
Josh-23-in his 2nd year of teaching/coaching,married to Adiranne, Daddy to Madasyn Shae, who will be 3 on September 6.

I know that I am an encouraging Mom, but that sometimes my reactions don't come out encouraging. I didn't get past question #3 on this quiz, because we didn't punish or reward our kids concerning chores. There are certain things that we have them do, because they live here, like be responsible for their room and help out all the time, however needed, but not certain daily chores.
